We are located in the peaceful and secure Bitterne Park neighbourhood of Southampton, near Riverside Park and the city centre.

Our Journey
St Katherine Care Home has been serving the Southampton community for over 45 years. Our facility was initially a small care home for a few residents, but has since been expanded several times, most recently in 2021.
Throughout our history, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents and are proud to have been part of the local community for so long.
At St Katherine Care Home, our vision has always been to continually improve and enhance our facility in any way possible. Over the years, we have made numerous changes and upgrades to our home to improve the daily lives of our residents.
Recently, we have completed two major projects that have significantly enhanced our home.
The first was the full digitization of care plans and daily records, which was well-received by the CQC, and the second was the refurbishment and expansion of our facility, which included the addition of 8 luxury en-suite bedrooms with new furniture and equipment.
We have also installed a passenger lift to make our entire home fully accessible. We are excited for what the future holds for St Katherine Care Home and our residents.

Sini has been with the home for almost 20 years. She takes everything in her stride, doing it all with enormous pride. With love and care, she leaves no one out and moves quietly when there’s a shout. Her heart of gold allows every resident to tap into her compassion and the level of care she expresses to them serves as an example for the staff who work under her leadership. Sini’s level of determination delivered the care home a CQC ‘Good’ rating in all 5 areas. Sini sets the standard and tone through leading by example by establishing an environment that thrives on the pursuit of excellence for both residents and staff alike.
