Person centred care

Our approach to care for our residents is based on the proposition that each person is an individual with particular needs, likes and dislikes. Our residents’ families and their carers are actively encouraged to be involved in our care planning process. We also encourage our residents to bring personal belongings for their room such as photographs and ornaments or pieces of furniture – space permitting and provided they meet with health and safety regulations. Family and friends are also welcome to visit their loved one in our care home. Our home uses an electronic care planning system called LogMyCare which allows us to monitor and review our resident’s progress effectively and efficiently.

Cultural needs

We welcome residents from all cultural backgrounds and endeavour to ensure that all residents are able to observe and practice particular religious and cultural beliefs during their stay.

Nutrition

We have partnered up with our friends at Apetito, who, based on nutritional values, prepare a variety of delicious dishes using only the highest quality ingredients. We have a varied menu with meals planned around nutritional needs and dietary requirements. If a resident require special menus for religious, cultural or dietary needs, our team will be delighted to discuss their requirements. We serve tea, coffee, drinks, home baking and snacks whenever required.
